The XCT 2000L provides true volumetric measurement of bone density and can separate the Cortical shell from the Trabecular bone compartment for early detection of changes. The XCT 2000L software facilitates location of the same scan site for study reproducibility. It also allows the physician to view the cross section of the bone for additional information.
