Application
One -Way SX is an extra strong, high tenacity biased splicing tape for use on heavy duty X and Y weight cotton, polyester and aramid coated abrasive backings. One-Way SX combines very high strength with good flexibility and can be used on a wide range of products including full resin and waterproof coated abrasives. In addition, One-Way SX has excellent "hinge" resistance when compared to glass or standard Kevlar® tapes which may lose tensile strength if the belt is allowed to fold at the joint.
All Adirondack One-Way products are supplied with our exclusive primer system which has been specifically designed to promote adhesion of urethane adhesives to the tape. This specially designed polymer primer impregnates the fiber bundles and reduces yarn splitting that can occur with high viscosity adhesive systems.
